Research Experience
She has completed supervised research projects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her MBA research examined compliance with AAOIFI and IFSB guidelines in the presentation and disclosure of financial statements of selected Islamic banks in Bangladesh, using annual reports and comparative analysis. Her BBA research examined corporate governance disclosure practices in the annual reports of selected Islamic and conventional banks in Bangladesh against relevant regulatory guidelines. These research activities developed her experience in standards-based document analysis, secondary data assessment, comparative analysis, structured data extraction, research synthesis, and academic presentation.
Professional Experience
Safia currently works as a Content Developer and Specialist, where she conducts research and develops, writes, and edits website content, articles, and campaign materials for international and Bangladeshi clients. Her responsibilities include content planning, research organization, project tracking, source evaluation, collaborative documentation, and editorial review. She has also worked as an English Language Trainer with Médecins Sans Frontières, where she designed and delivered practical English-language training for support staff. Earlier, she worked as an Educator and Student Counsellor, teaching Business Studies, English, and Social Science while providing learner support and counselling. She also served as an Assistant Teacher, gaining additional experience in teaching and educational support.

Her professional development includes formal training in early childhood development, counselling, education, accounting software, and leadership. She has completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Development and professional training in therapeutic counselling skills and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
